Re: back to normal?

Johnny steered the QB1 back to Ganymede, requesting landing
permission.
"What is the reason for the deviation from your flight path?"
Who: Johnny, Eric, Jenny & Chris
Where: QB1 orbiting Ganymede
When: Two hours after last post
Johnny looked at Eric quizically, before replying "We had been
attacked by raiders, but were saved by a crack military team. We also
were attacked by another military craft for no reason while we were
making our way back here, and the elite team have the Sergeant in
their custody. All in all, not a good day."
"That's the third identical attack this week." said the guy in the
control tower, as Johnny and Eric exchanged more surprised looks.
The ship finally landed in a secure area, as another elite team came
aboard to take over from Jenny and Chris.
The leader of this new group, was ranked higher than Jenny.
"Thanks for you work, Ms Bond." He said, shanking her hand. "This
will give us a lot of evidence to help with our case against the
organised crime groups on Ganymede."
"You're welcome, Sir, but don't forget what Chris has done. Without
his help, it wouldn't have been a success."
The (real, paying) passengers were escorted off and given free
tickets on another charter, while the illegal immigrants were
escorted into custody.
Also on hand was a high ranking manager withing the P&O&A company,
who handed Johnny a form, saying that he'd been fired, effective
immediately.
"Smeg, what now?" asked Johnny.
"You could always try to get back into the space corps - we are
needed a few more people soon, due to some major offensives we will
be having soon."
"Oh yeah, I heard rumours to that effect." Eric said. "Are there any
recruiting headquarters here? Particularly away from the downtown
area, as the local Ganfia there aren't really happy with me."
"I know." Jenny replied, pulling out a map and pointing to a certain
spot. "You can enrol here. Now, we had better go, as we've got a lot
of paperwork to fill out. Later."
"Bye." Eric and Johnny said, as they caught a cab to the area Jenny
pointed out on the map to enlist.
