*Action* "Time skipping gets worse"

Who: Seymour, Jay Chrysler, Efof, Amber, Dante and Jenny Bond
Where: Blue Dwarf: Promenade
When: Time is fluctuating… but relative to us… this is the present
Jay Chrysler and Amber walked onto the Promenade to meet Seymour
with Efof and Jenny Bond who was keeping a close eye on the Royal
Ambassador. Dante had just been milling around surveying the area.
The time shifts around the ship had been getting more and more
varied, and many people were running around in confusion, some of
them were projections of their past or future selves – it was hard
to tell who was living in the present.
Jay greeted them all and handed Efof, Jenny and Amber
bazukoids. "Here you'd batter have these, every deck keeps shifting
in time, and some places are in very dangerous time frames. Me and
Amber have just been attacked by some Pirates, Gelfs, and some large
ticking crocodiles and pokemon."
"Crocodiles and poke-what?" Asked Dante.
"We had a hallucination-virus on the ship a few years ago, it turned
all your hallucinations or thoughts into reality…. We had a few very
weird goings on, I can tell you!" said Jay.
Seymour cleared his throat, annoyed that he hadn't been given a
weapon. "So how come I don't get one?"
"Your not a member of the crew remember." Jay reminded him.
"But this is a dangerous situation…." Said Seymour.
Jay thought about it. "Well the hallucinations have so far been
harmless, they are mainly ghost-like, we can't see them. But some
have responded to us, as if the people from the past can see the
future…. It is very unusual, so I guess you can take a weapon…. For
now!"
Seymour took the bazukoids, loaded it and cocked it in one
impressive move. It impressed no-one but himself, and maybe Efof who
was impressed by anything.
"So do we know what caused this?" Asked Dante.
"We're not sure yet." Said Jay. "But I think we may have to ask
Engineering to find that out. The phone lines are down so we'd
better go on foot."
As they walked down the Promanade, Seymour turned to Jenny Bond. "So
I've heard rumours you work for the Queen as well huh?".
Jenny narrowed her eyes. "I'm unfortunately sworn to secrecy."
Seymour furrowed his brow. "So it's a secret?"
"Sworn to secrecy, yes."
"Working for the Secret Service eh?" Asked Seymour.
"I'm not at liberty to say."
"So that's a yes then is it?"
As they walked past the Promenade, Seymour pointed out a few people
to the newbie. "That is ex-security officer Harris… look how angry
he looks? We had to put up with that all the time. Watch as he gets
beaten up by that old woman he's trying to arrest!" I think we're in
a time frame about 4 years ago!
The promanade shifted in time again visibly, this time it was full
of people running around in love. "Ah, now this is last valentines
day- there was a love virus escape from the labs. It was…
interesting."
They walked past the McDonalds, time shifted again and a large
chicken started to run towards them, chased by security officers in
golf-carts.
"Ah now this is 4 years ago as well, we went to this orbital poultry
facility where this mutant chicken had been killing people… it will
now run into this MacDonalds and meet its end in the meat grinder!"
"I don't remember this?" Said Jay, turning around. Amber voiced the
same opinion and watched.
"Yeah, I think this was before you all joined." Seymour said.
"If the chicken is coming here, shouldn't we move?" Asked Efof,
worried about being run over by a large mutant chicken.
"Don't worry, its in another time frame. It will pass straight
through us." Said Jay.
Efof relaxed and was suddenly flattened by the large chicken, which
soon after decided not to run into the MacDonalds afterall, and
turned around to eat Security chief Harris.
"Hangon, this never happened!" Said Seymour.
Efof layed unconscious on the floor covered in feathers.
Jay turned around. "I think its getting worse, if we can affect the
timelines…. Then we might be changing time right now."
Amber helped Efof to get up.
Efof opened his eyes slowly, the first thing he saw was Amber.
"Amber… have I ever told you how much I … love you."
"Oh my god, he's got the Love virus!" Said Seymour.
Amber dropped him.
