"Riight..." Imdaewen said to herself, she grabbed the bags.
"I better take these then." And picked them up with more ease than McJohn.
McJohn stood up and brushed himself down.
"Must have tripped on something." He looked around on the floor.
Imdaewen raised an eyebrow.
They continued down the corridor a bit.
"Would you like help with those?" McJohn asked again.
Imdaewen stopped in her tracks, gave a small nervous laugh.
"I'm fine but you wouldn't mind telling me where my living space is."
She dropped the bags with a loud thud and pulled a piece of crumpled
paper from her jeans pocket, a small black round thing fell out as
well, she quickly picked it up looked at it and put it back.
McJohn took the piece of paper and proceeded to unfold it.
"What was that?" He asked.
"My tamagotchi." She grinned.
"Well Emdarwong, you should have no problem fitting in." He read the
scrawl on the piece of paper and then gave her some instructions on
how to get there.
"Imdae for short." She growled, one thing she couldn't stand was being
called not her name, her last employer did that and so after the seven
hundreth billionth time she threw a can of baked beans at him, the can
was fine however he was not. Surprisingly enough her colleague was the
one who got fired and she was greeted the next day with "Karen what
the hell are you doing here? I thought I had a restraining order on
you."
"So if you get lost, just ask Holly." He paused for a moment.
"Actually better not, you would be better wandering around till you
find a floating space ameoba."
