Rejoining the Sol system.

The wormhole closed smoothly behind the huge vessel, the ramscoops
still glowing slightly from the energy of the Hymenoptera weapons.
"This is the JMC vessel Blue Dwarf, requesting docking permission
for repairs." Alota said calmly over the radio.
"did you find the Red Dwarf? permission granted." came a reply.
"no, we didn't"
"ehh, didn't think so."
The Huge Blue lump of metal limped into dry dock, the main airlock
was damaged in the recent battles, so the walkways were just
sonnected to random holes in the ship.
"This is your captain, Shore leave for everyone until further
notice" Alota called over the shipwide tannoy, choruses of cheering
could be heard throughout the ship as everyone made their way to an
exit. Jack was no exception. He woke suddenly as the extra loud
speakers in the silent cargo bay blasted the message to him.
"ok, i'm up!" he said, groaning and rolling over. "shore leave?" he
thought, and did a backflip onto his feet, and ran to the closest
exit, which just so happened to be in this very hangar bay. Just
before he left, and people from the outside came in to start
repairs, he punched a code into the computer, and all of Severns
equipment folded away into the walls, ceiling and floor.
As he left the ship, he was greeted by some low level technicians.
"hello sir! where would you like us to start repairs?" the leading
techie asked.
"anywhere you want to. find the most damaged sector, this hangar is
already repaired though, it didn't take much work luckily." Jack
replied, saving Severn the trouble of explaining his 'equipment' and
Jacks training course.
Everyone started walking off of the dwarf, Jay and Alota in the
group, walking off together... But as they left, and were out of
the line of sight of the guards, another woman walked back round the
corner, looking exactly like Alota.
"Ahh, did you forget something Captain?" asked one of the guards.
"yes, i did..." she said, hesitantly, before boarding the ship.
"yes! finally made it. Now... where is he?" she said to herself,
and moved to a Holly terminal.
"Holly, where is Jack FeBuggure?" She asked, pronouncing the F and B
as if she was a member of the family.
"He's gone Alota, he left by Severns Hangar doors." came Hollys voice
"now if you don't, i've got a play-by-mail chess game to win." and
with that, a 'do not disturb' notice appeared on every Holly
terminal shipwide.
"damn, missed him." she said out loud, and walked to the crew
section, knowing she would find a layout, and be able to wait for
Jack there.
