Niples- "Whatever happened to Mrs Niples?"

Who: Seymour Niples
Where: On top of the Dwarf
When: While the away mission is taking place
Seymour stood outside on the Dwarf's hull wearing a space suit. He
looked at the gold ball on the floor in front of him and hit it with
a club far far into the inky blackness.
Seymour watched the ball go, and his eyes fixed on a planet only a
few light years away. Seymour shuddered. He knew that the woman that
he married- his wife was on that planet, not too far away. He'd left
the planet so quickly that he never told her where he was, and too
right- he didn't want her to know, he couldn't wait to get away.
He watched as a Blue Dwarf security patrol of Blue Midgets shot down
a Hymenoptera scout ship. The Blue Dwarf still hadn't moved in quite
a long time now, so far they had been safe enough, but Hymenoptera
kept sending scouts to see if they were still stranded- but they
obviously weren't yet ready to commit to a proper attack. But
Seymour knew that they would come soon.
Seymour hit another golf ball and looked after it, his eyes fixed on
a small Gelf ship coming from the planet he was looking at earlier.
The ship was flying erratically towards him, suddenly he heard a
voice through the radio in his helmet.
"SEEYMOUR-POOS!! I want my Seeymour-poos!"
A cold shiver ran down Seymour's spine. It was his wife Olga, come
to find him, probably to finish their wedding night `business.' He
shivered again. He ducked as the badly piloted craft flew so close
over the hull that it almost hit him, and then banked, scraping a
wing on the metal hull.
"Good Lord, it's the missus!" Seymour said and sprinted across the
hull to the nearest air-lock.
He entered the Dwarf on Deck 1 near the Drive-Room. As he ran he
passed Captain Alota in the corridor.
"Seymour, wait!" She stopped him. "A woman has arrived claiming to
be your wife."
"You haven't let her onboard have you?!" Said Seymour.
"She's in Flight Deck 4, she tried to dock three times and missed,
so we had to tow her in. I think she's looking for you."
"JustÂ…just tell her I'm out." Seymour said Hurriedly.
"What?! I'm not lying to her! Aren't you going to see her?"
"No, I'm not here, tell her anything to get rid of her! I'm at a
wine tasting, or a antique auction, orÂ… she's got the wrong ship,
anything!!!"
He ran off with his fingers in his ears as Alota kept shouting after
him.
