The security door's that were at this moment slamming shut all across the ship slammed shut between Jay Chrysler, and the rest of the group.
"Oh for the love of....." Jay muttered as it 'clanged' into place.He flipped open his mobile, and could hear the familar theme song of "eastenders" in its polyphonic glory coming through the metal.
"Phil?!" Jay said into his handset as Phil answered the phone "Yeah...I'm gonna find another way back to the Phoenix, meet you guys there.."
He flipped his mobile closed and dashed down the corridor.
He heard footsteps, and various "Argh matey's" echoing down the hall, so he ducked into a nearby utility room, peering through a small vent in the door he saw about 12 pirates stop outside the door and chat to themselves about what they'd do to any intruder they'd find. The odd's were not stacked in Chrysler's favour
It was at this point something happened, something that would ultimatley determine the outcome of whether or not Jay would survive this mission. What happened was this, Jay's mobile vibrated silently in his pocket, as always when hiding from space pirates hell bent on murdering you in various unpleasant ways, like in a cinema, you must turn your mobile phone off, or put it on silent, as Jay had just done.
He placed the phone to his ear without taking his eyes of the gathering of loon's outside.
"Jay" came a voice, it was Kelly, the Phoenix's on board computer "Thought you'd wanna know,...Callum's about to fly the Phoenix..."
"HE WHAT?!!" came Jays reaction, a yell so loud it could be heard outside the ship...which considering sound cant travel in a vacuum, is pretty bloody loud.
With that he burst out of the utility room, and tore through the sword wielding pirates like a hot knife through butter, with the rage of an alcohol fuelled Phil FeBuggure on a Thursday, the Pirates were thrown left, right and centre. Battered, bruised and one of them got a paper cut. Jay snatched a sword from one of the crumpled heaps of pirate and charged of down the corridor gibbering with anger....

Kochanski stoped in the middle of a coridoor to try and figure out how to get back to the pheonix, he had lost the others somewhere on this deck. He was just thinking if he should go back and look for them when another explosion rocked the ship. Self presevation won over and he entered the airlock for the pheonix.
"Why I EVER let that short, stupid, furry, dick head ever get his mits near the remote detonator i'll never know."
But he didnt have time for this sort of back thinking. CK powered up the engines and prepared to leg it with the boose in tow.
"i'll wait 1 more miniute, then im out of here."
