Boom shakalaka
Who: Trisees
Where: A corridor
-----------------
Fire raged overhead in the ducts, pulsating through the metal tubes
and spurting randomly from gratings all around the ships corridor
system. Up inside the duct, holding onto a very hot flat piece of
metal, Lawrence Trisees was praying it was strong enough to keep him
alive as he surfed the tip of the flame.
He was panicking as his body was propelled along, only the thin piece
of metal protecting him from death. He was already majorly burnt, the
heat having caused his arm to stick to the metal. He gritted his
teeth, screaming between them as the heat continued to batter him.
He looked around for a way out, an escape vent, anything which could
rescue him from being boiled alive.
As he was forced back, he felt the duct shake, until it suddenly
shattered and the base dropped to the floor, Trisees' body falling
with it.
He hit the floor of the corridor hard, his head stopping his forward
descent and making a horrifying serious of clicks. He groaned quietly
and lay still, the heat of the corridor gone, along with a large
portion of recognisable skin and hair.
He felt awful.
Trisees rubbed his head with his hand and sat up slowly, his back
feeling as though it had been pummeled with concrete.
It was then that he noticed something strange.
He couldn't feel his legs.
