Efof- "New Fleet"

Who: Efof Yuwan'Kar
Where: Planet where Seymour's wedding took place
When: Seymour's wedding night
Efof walked alone in the jungle away from the wedding party.
"Ooh this place reminds me of my planet!" Efof said skipping in joy,
talking to himself, as only he could cope with himself for long
periods of time.
"The smell, the flowers, the vines, the little tweeting birds…. The …
strange reptiles eating the little birds, the trees, the flowers."
Efof had a way of being completely oblivious of any danger at all.
"Hmm, I wonder what's in here?" He asked himself as he crossed
through a hole in a barbed wire fence. Written on the fence in
English and Esperanto was "Danger, No public access! Park Closed to
public."
"Very interesting…" Efof said, finding a small hamlet of overgrown
buildings. "Anybody around?"
He looked in a small hut and found a few supplies that looked to
have been left there for a good few years.
"Ooh goody, popcorn!" He said grabbing a tub of mouldy popcorn and
tucking in. "Hmmmm, green flavour!" He said, getting bits stuck in
his teeth.
Then suddenly he dropped the popcorn in shock as he saw a huge
monster partially poking its head out of a bush in front of him.
Efof stood still for a few minutes, then wondered if the monster was
actually going to move.
"Hello?" Said the Ffionian. "Are you alive? You're a dinosaur right?
A species from Earth? I liked your role in Jurassic Park…. "
He moved up to the dinosaur and patted it on the nose. It made a
clunking sound. "Oh, you're plastic!"
Then he looked around and saw a space rocket and various model
robots laying around the area under a sign "Science Fiction World"
and under it a small notice saying "closed due to lack of funding."
Efof ran around the park like a madman. He found a fibreglass green
man and started talking to it. "Hello I'm an alien too! Nice tan!"
He then kicked it over and ran further into the abandoned park.
He turned a corner and looked in awe at what was in front of him. He
stood on a banner saying "Take a ride in our working replica
selection of science fiction show ships!"
Efof read it and looked at the selection. In his time on Blue Dwarf
he had tried to learn as much as he could about Human culture,
favouring often on science fiction and children's TV shows. He grew
excited as he ran from one ship to the next, here were actual
working recreations of X-Wings, Tie Fighters, The Millenium Falcoln,
Vipers from Battlestar Galactica, each of the Thunderbirds, Bablylon
5's Starfury's and many more in various states of disrepair.
Efof ran up to each, stroked and hugged them, before running back
towards the camp. "Seymour, Phil, Callum look what I found!!"
He was suddenly knocked down by a gust of air from above, and looked
up, shielding his face with his hand. Bright landing lights shone
down on him, but Efof could just make out the shape of the Raven
landing directly in front of him.
As it landed, and the rest of the Blue Dwarf crew who had gathered
on the other planet filed out, Efof excitedly hugged each of them
and couldn't wait to show them what he had just found.
