Fermented Vegetable Drinks (Or Alcohol, as we'd call it)

Aurora dragged herself from sobbing into her pillow, and scuffed her way over to Parrott's. Her hair formed a curtain around her face, which she was glad for. She didn't want anyone seeing her eyes all swollen and puffy. Aurora mumbled something to the barmaid, who nodded and handed her a glass of some kind of alcohol.
Callum looked up. 'You feeling down too?' Aurora slowly looked up, revealing streaks of mascara. She nodded.
'Fermented vegetable drinks,' she sighed before taking another large gulp. Consciously, she wiped the mascara off her cheeks and rested her head on her arm. Callum merely glanced over, unsure of what to do.
Without warning, Aurora began sobbing uncontrollably.
