When: just after he deleted himself from the Holly main computer
"i wonder how its going" said the persona that was the Pilot, "i wish i had
been made into a clone i haven't flown in ages"
"OH MY GOD!!!" shouted the scientist as he rematerialized on the screen in
the middle of the room.
"next time we plan something like this, i'll take that DAMN shrink out
first" he said, fuming as much as a computer program could.
"hahaha, he got you?!?!?" said the Shrink Jack, laughing his head off... not
difficult as he was only a head.
"well, i win... i told you he wouldn't do it... its my turn next" said the
engineer of the group.
"and what are you planning?" asked the scientist, ever inquisitive.
"oh, you'll see... you'll see" replied the engineer, closing his eyes in
concentration as several pipes lifted from the ground and started fighting
in front of him.
"i have a secret weapon" he added, as one of the cables blew the other apart
with an electronic pulse. " we just need a way to get these out of the
room." he finished, as he let them go, and his program flickered out for a
second, the battery indicator on his screen falling very quickly as his
control over the cables took most of his reserves.
"and by the way, i never asked, how did you get out of there? you were
deleted from here i thought" asked the schrink, the scientist turned to him
and smiled.
"the computer programmers favourite tools, Control C and Control V..." he
looked smug, as he retracted his screen into the wall, and started up the
holographic chess game he was playing with a program of his creation.
"*pawn to king four*" came the digitised voice of the computer.
