(no subject)

The turbo lift arrived, the two entered.Three decks down, the lift opened, Jay walked out,
and adjusted his collar, smiling as he walked towards the launch
bays.
 
He tapped the call button next to the door, the face of the woman
appeared on the monitor, her hand, off screen was floating over a bazookoid she
had taken from one of the Starbugs.
“It’s me” Jay said
She stared back, raising an eybrow “Ok..” Jay muttered “Wolf”
he said
“Much better, you know there IS a point to the password”
“Shut the hell up, it’s almost as if you expected him to
fail!”
“So what next?” she asked
“I go back up there and act like everythings ok! While you carry
on your part of the mission”
“What about the areas of the ship that are voice command only?”
“Me and Jack will take care of those”
 

 
A while later Jay stepped back onto the promenade.
“So what was it all about?!” Alota asked
“Gas leak, like Holly said”
“But he also said it would only take 15 minutes to clear, its now
been what? An hour and a half?!”
“YEAH WELL IT’S GONNA TAKE LONGER OK?!” Jay snapped
“Hey! Easy!”
Jay caught a glimpse of Jack darting towards the armoury out of the
corner of his eye; then he heard Jack’s voice in his ear, “Give me
two minutes…we’ll have full control of the weapons supplies”
“I’m going to the medi-bay” Jay said walking away from
Alota as he did so.
“What for?!”
“WHY DON’T YOU LEARN TO MIND YOUR OWN BUSINESS?!” he snapped
in response, and walked off without even turning to look at his wife.

“Ooof! Watch it!” said a voice, as a figure was thrown in
to the room roughly. It lifted itself up and sat back against the wall, the
room was dark, hard to see anything, but light shone in through the vents,
giving a clear, if obstructed view of the cargo bay.
“So…” said a second voice “They got you too
huh?”
