The weirdest things can be found in the weirdest places

The world swam sharply into focus....well okay sharp as a drunk on cheap
Czech absinthe sees the world. The small filthy ball moaned as it struggled
to maintain the consciousness only recently grasped. It tried to move and
found that it's movement was severely restricted given the narrow confines
of the container. The thing in the container tried to engage it's tired
mind by recalling what had happened however nothing came into focus no
matter how hard it tried. It did note that it felt angry about something
but wasn't sure what exactly.
"Well," it thought, "I'd better get out of here I suppose!"
The suitcase rumbled a bit then as pressure was applied it began to rip and
slowly the thing extracted itself from the case. It looked around and saw a
mirror and strolled over to take a peak. The thing that faced it was
disturbing to say the least it had filthy matted hair, bloodshot eyes and a
torn graying robe on. Around it's neck hung a placard with "END OF WORLD IS
NIGH" drawn on with permanent marker.
The thing looked about and decided to leave this room and see if it could
find something to spark a memory. Just then footsteps were heard coming
round the corner and stopping at the door. The thing looked round looking
even more bewildered than before as the door opened and a figure walked
through.
(Tag someone, (Ok this won't be a long subplot but I have to reinsert DOOM
somehow...any takers)
