Watching a giant white hamster bounce around the Burger Tzar, tip an unseen
hat as he greeted her, then almost have a confrontation with the lady behind
the counter, Katrina shook her head. "I hope that was real," she said out
loud.
Yes, you've encountered Lt. White Wolf before, she reminded herself. You've
had to clean up some messes he's left behind after what a crew member called
a "leaping incident."
As White Wolf began to converse with the pink death, Katrina yawned,
stretching her arms before folding them on the table in front of her. She
absently watched Steev come around and order some burgers, stuffing them in
his face. She then rested her head on her arms and closed her eyes.
After a quick nap, I'll go and and really see the Captain, she thought. No
retreating. I wonder if the Captain's gone as mad as the rest of us?
Inwardly, she giggled, adding to her thoughts, Who'd notice the difference?
