he Giant Metal Scorpion

<this is a continuation of my last post, BEFORE the disabling mind
blast>
Jack threw himself at the scorpion, who's tail swung round towards
him, he was too angry to do anything about it as it made contact with
his head, the sound of metal on metal was heard for miles around as
the point of the tail snapped off and flew into a metal sheet.
"Ha!, thats it, you're dead!!" he shouted as his fist moved quickly
towards it, striking it in the... face? throing it backwards into the
wall.
<whoosh> a missile emerged from its tail and rocketed towards Jack,
who fired an energy blast to detonate it, he flew through the smoke
and shrapnel, Jack emerged on the other side, blood over his
forehead, and dripping into his face, He spun round, flying towards
the scorpion feet first, which also jumped into the air, its huge
metallic, serrated claws pointing in Jack general direction.
Theyu flew towards each other, Jacks feet made contact with the
claws, shattering the metal plating, a shockwave blew down the
surrounding wall down, Both participants landed on their feet 6 feet
away from each other, they circled... and circled...
At this point the scorpion stopped, Jack continued to circle, until
he noticed this (he was next to it) He drew his sword and tried to
turn it on, it flickered...
Jack held it out in front of him, "come on sword, stay up for 2
seconds longer" he said as he jumped backwards and pushed off of a
large lump of rock, flying towards the scorpion at break neck
speeds. He held his sword out in front of himself, and rocketed
towards the disabled scorpion, its lights were out..
He was 2 metres away from it when the lights on the scorpion came
back to life, it turrned slightly to look directly at Jack, it had no
time to react, the sword punctured its CPU casing, blasting the
pentium 100 processor into a million pieces, Jack and the sword
continued to the centre of the scorpion, penetrating the power
source, which eploded...
A huge explosion shook the entire castle, rubble covered the battle
field, nothing could be seen of the two fighters apart from metal
shards and riped clothing. A red light flickered off in the corner
of what used to be a room.
The rumbing stopped, and dust fell around the area, covering all of
the team who were still hiding just outside the door at this point.
Everyone stopped, and looked towards the arena, hoping for sonme sign
of a voctor, but none came.
