"Laughing like Loons on Loon Tablets...."
Aurora, having recieved no reply from sending out a distress call, decided that she was boarding that ship no matter what.
"Argile?" she called, waiting for the senile computer's response.
"Yeppers?" chirped the ultimately senile computer.
"Plot a course for that blue lump of space-junk, please," Aurora ordered, petting her hallucination.
"Will do, darling."
Aurora walked back to her quarters and led on her bunk, staring blankly at the purple and yellow spotted ceiling. A small robot, bearing a resemblance to a Skutter (but looking all funked-up and hippie-like) rolled into her room.
"Is it time for my journal entry?" she asked, propping herself up with one elbow. The skutter 'nodded'.
"Mmkay... Well." She thought for a moment. "Get the paper, then! And a pen!" Aurora commanded, pointing. The Skutter got the stuff as it was told and returned to her obediently.
"Ship's log. Date; Unknown. Location; This ship. Crew Member Number; 1079. (New paragraph.) The ship appears to be deserted. No signs of the crew, all except for the open baked bean tins and the cute pink flying kitten which appears to be following me. Sent out a distress call, blah blah blah, received no reply. Have decided to take action and force entry. Hahahahaha. (Don't write that though. Or this. Oh smeg...)
Anyway, had a lovely girly chat with the cat I have named Celestia. Funny how old Argile can't see her. She really is a darling. We chatted for HOURS in my room, and we were laughing like loons on loon tablets... Oh the joy! End entry, please." The Skutter looked flushed, and scuttled back out of the room.
