Andy Christ frowned. The manual he was reading just wasn't making any sense. He'd been sat there, for God knows how long trying to work out what it was French had told him to read. It was at this moment, that Mike French himself walked into the room.
"How are you doing, Christ?"Christ looked up at him. French looked down at the book he was reading. A nonplussed expression slowly crossed his face. Stepping towards Andy, Mike reached out and turned the book the right way up.
"Oh! It all makes perfect sense now! I don't know why I didn't think of that!" beamed Christ.
French slapped the book from his student's hand. His temper flared greatly, as did his nostrils.
"You mean to tell me, you've been here for nigh on half-an-hour, reading a book that was upside down?"
"Oh no," said Christ... "I couldn't actually read it, remember?"
French flopped down onto the bunk in exasperation.
"And besides, it was more like forty-five minutes!" he added, with a gormless look on his face.
The wonder of the world is gone, and old for sure. All the wonder that I want, I found in her. As the whole becomes a part, I strike to burn- an old flame returns.
