Efof- \"Meeting Marl\"

OOC- Great first post Anna/Marl, but BD's not underwater- its
floating on antigrav sleds in a large floating city on a planet with
very low gravity.

"Holly, where's the nearest lift?"
"Over there to you right, where do you want to go?"
"Uhm, the same floor as the Science department?"
"That would be level one, have a nice time."
Marl stepped into the lift and dropped her luggage on the floor, too
tired to notice the slight glee in Holly's voice…

Efof pressed the lift button and waited, he whistled a jolly tune
and scratched his testicles (head). He was wearing his bar apron,
but was in the process of untying it when the lift door opened, he
saw Marl in the lift.
"Oh hello!" Efof said joyfully, sounding quite simple. "Are you on
the way up? Shame, theres not many people on the ship at the moment,
I'm supposed to be tending the bar at Parrotts, but theres bugger
all in there!"
Marl smiled and was going to introduce herself, but the weird
looking man jabbered on, she also noticed he had four arms, but
didn't ask why.
"There was a nasty bump a while back too, I think the ship crashed a
bit, all the glasses fell off the shelf, and a bit annoying too- I'd
only just cleaned them! One fell on my head… I might not be able to
have kids now!"
"Erm…right….hangon…what?" Marl asked.
Efof pressed a button on the lift control and the door started to
close.
Just before they did, Marl stopped them and looked out. "That's
Parrotts bar over there isn't it?"
"The one with the big sign saying Parrotts yes…" Said
Efof. "Although some smart-arse kids keep spray painting the sign to
spell it right."
"Okay then why are some people with wings running away with the
kegs?"
"Oh they're Aerons, we're on their planet. They've never seen
alcohol before, i think they like it. They've been taking it all
day. I just assumed the Ambassador established a trade treaty or
something…"
"But they're wearing ski masks!"
"You cant judge an alien culture on its fashions!"
"I think they're stealing it you know…."
"You really think so? Ahh… oh… I'll be right back!"
