Marlene "Marl" von Gildenstein wakes up

OOC. Hi all, this is Marl’s first post. I tried to
read up on what’s happening and it seems slightly
confused at the moment. I’ll try diving in anyway
:-)If I get anything wrong don’t hesitate to tell me.

Waking up was not a pleasant experience. In fact Marl
was freezing and she felt like crap. But that was as
expected when traveling as a human popsicle. She
stumbled out of the Cryotube and looked around, trying
to keep her teeth from chattering.
“What tha.. this doesn’t look like Jupiter Station.”
No indeed, what her bleary eyes surveyed seemed to be
a small and quite dark cargo bay. She stumbled
through a pile of empty boxes to the nearest computer
console.
“Computer, where am I?”
“Depends!?”
“Depends on what you mean. Do you mean which ship,
which planet, which star system, which ga…”
“What is the name of this, this ship!”
“Blue Dwarf”
Marl sank to the floor. At least she was on the right
ship.
“Computer what year is this?”
“The year 2103…I think.”
She clutched her aching head. Three months! She had
said three months! She was to have been woken at
Jupiter Station! That bloody bastard Thomas! She had
known he was going to pay her back but this!? He must
have made sure that her cryotube had been hidden in
the darkest dankest place he could find.
She moaned as the ship rocked slightly and her brain
wobbled with it.
“Computer what’s happening?”
“Oh the ship is currently under water and stop calling
me Computer, my name is Holly”.
Slightly surprised at this, since she couldn’t recall
ever hearing that mining ships could become submarines
as well, Marl slowly managed to get back on her feet
and back to the cryotube. She was very relieved to
find her luggage still in the back locker and with
some difficulty she hoisted her pack on to her back
and grabbed her carry-on.
“Holly, where’s the nearest lift?”
“Over there to you right, where do you want to go?”
“Uhm, the same floor as the Science department?”
“That would be level one, have a nice time.”
Marl stepped into the lift and dropped her luggage on
the floor, too tired to notice the slight glee in
Holly’s voice…
