Strange crewmember and why am I saying Smeg?

Where: Abandoned on the Roof.
When: While Dean talks with Kara
“Smegging idiot, I am right here you Smeg Head.” Shouted Dante waving
frantically as The Raven entered the BD. “Smeg!! Smeg? Why am I saying Smeg?
I haven’t said that before! What is a Smeg? Stuff Smeg. Charlie, this is D1
come in Charlie.”
“Reading you loud and clear Dante.”
“Where is the secondary objective?”
“The ambassador has been carried back to BD in a hover barrow.”
“Okay, I won’t ask. What about the primary objective.”
“Say what?”
“Amber, where is she?”
“Dante was now squinting through his bino’s at the range room.”
“Mmmm, Amber, yes, mmm, that’s funny that cos I don’t know.”
“You What?”
“Yea I lost her, but if you give me a minute.”
“You have until I get myself down there, which judging by the anti-grav on
this planet should take about 2 mins.”
“Consider her found Dante.” Charlie whizzed of up to the only crewmember
left in the room and asked if he had seen Amber. The crewmen pointed in the
direction of a large set of double doors. Charlie whizzed off and just
managed to get through them just before they closed behind him. Dante landed
with out making a sound again and put a finger in his ear, “Charlie, this is
D1 come in Charlie… Charlie, this is D1 come in Charlie. Smeg, There it is
again that word Smeg.” Dante ran up to the same crewmen. “Have you seen a
little red and black robot about here.” Again the crewmen silently pointed
at the double doors, which were now open again. Dante turned to say cheers,
but the crewman was gone. “Strange.” Thought Dante and shrugged his
shoulders as he continued towards the doors, quickening the pace as he
realised the doors were closing and he to just made it through. Dante was
now in a dark, damp, thin corridor. “I don’t like this.” Dante drew his
rifle and flicked on the under slung torch. “Charlie, this is D1 come in
Charlie… Charlie, this is D1 please respond.” Dante whispered.
