Nightmares fouler than dark or death

"We introduce too much for it to handle," stated Keto, "We need to
start thinking up as many imaginary things as we possibly can. And
since this corrupted version of Better Than Life seems to only work
on nightmares..."
He raised an eyebrow at the other two.
"...we need to bring as many of our nightmares into the game as
possible. Enough to send it crashing down."

"Nightmares? As in the stuff that keeps you awake and terrorises your soul?"
asked Trisees.
"Yes," said Keto.
"In here?" asked Trisees.
"Yes," replied Keto.
"With us?" asked Trisees, a little bit more worried.
"Y-E-S," replied Keto.
Trisees shook a little.
"But they're nightmares."
Keto closed his eyes.
"It's the only way Lawrence. Either we crash this system by any means
possible, and at the moment, that is the only way, or we stay locked in it
till the rest of the crew realise we've not been around for a while. And
seeing as we're easily the smartest on the crew, that could be never."
Trisees nodded at Keto's very true point.
He joined the Doctor and Sara in closing his eyes and began thinking of
things. Scary things. Horrible
things. Things of utter pure fear.
He frowned as a small watering can appeared in front of him.
"That's not quite what I had intended," he said, closing his eyes again.
A small poodle appeared this time, complete with pink puffs of fur and an
annoying yip.
"Warmer," he muttered.
Trisees closed his eyes and began to think of the ultimate in fear. The most
terrifying thing he could
ever possibly imagine. He felt his mind stretch and the insides of his eyes
curl. He could feel his stomach
boil and his legs shake. And then, he heard a pop, and opened his eyes.
There was nothing there.
Trisees scratched his head with his single arm and looked at Keto, who had
been surrounded by fifty
seven large bats and was now attempting to shoo them from his face. It was
the tugging of Sara that
roused him from his thought.
"I said," she repeated, Trisees now able to see her lips. "What is that?"
Sara was stammering almost and pointing to a large black object in the mist.
Keto moved away from the bats and stood next to Trisees, peering with the
scientist at the object
Sara had spotted.
At once, Trisees and Keto's face began to drop. Their skin went pale and
their eyes bulged slightly. Everso slightly, and as one person, the pair
began inching backwards.
"Who's nightmare is that?" asked Sara, stepping back with them.
"Both of ours," replied Trisees and Keto in unison, as the 80 foot tall
smiling vision of Doctor William Shakespeare stepped forward to greet them.
