said and promptly got his wallet out
“So?” asked
Keats.
“So what?”
“Can I have one?!”
“PHIL!” Jay
shouted to Phil who was standing all of six feet away. “Jim…wants one too!”
“It’s John
actually” Keats corrected
“Tomato tomato…”
“That doesn’t work
when you spell it”
“Shut up….” Jay
said swaying round and round atop his barstool “I can have you busted down to
Lieutenant like that…”
“I AM a Lieutenant,
but can I have my ship signed off for use?”
“Great Idea!”
said Jay “I might have to put you in for promotion! How does Lieutenant Keats
sound?”
“Well it has a
ring to it, and has had for the last 3 years Sir…”
“What did you say
about my wife?”

Keats turned and
quickly left Jay to clamber back onto his barstool in peace.
