RE: [JMC_Blue_Dwarf] The EVE 1

Ok I see a posting conflict here but consider it fixed by the moderator-man!
Two posts become one with a bit of duct-tapey type paragraphy stuff in the
middle

Who: Dante, Charlie, Keto, Alota, Jay, Emma, The Big Pink Tree

"Is that bad?" asked Emma "He's gone we can leg it!"
"Oh yeah...it's bad" Keto said
*Rustle * said the tree.
"How come?" asked Dante
Machine gun fire was heard, and the door frame was blasted away from the
wall, a dangerous looking piece of machinery walked through and stood where
in the space Jay occupied seconds before,
"That's where they keep the EVE1" Keto said, in answer to Dante's question.

Dante, Keto, Alota and Emma stood dumbstruck. The EVE 1 was taking up most
of the corridor so there was no way out that way. "Any ideas?" said Dante
hopefully. The blank look he received from every one was enough to tell him
now. "I have one," Said the croaking voice behind them. Dante was the first
to turn round "CHARLIE" Said Dante as he ducked from another volley of laser
guided missiles. Charlie's Repair circuits must have been working in over
drive since he was downed, as now he was nearly completely mobile. "Yea Run"
Charlie snapped. " I will try and hold him of." Dante beamed admiration at
Charlie as he dodged a girder falling from the roof after being shot to $#!+
from the Gattling cannons. " And what is useless lump of metal like u going
to do?" Growled a rather unhappy Dr. Keto as he too dodged yet more rounds
from the EVE 1. Dante was about to growl something back at the doctor when
Alota snapped in with, "How about we stop arguing and get the hell out of
here?" "Good plan" Dante was still glaring at a doctor who was trying
desperately to look big. "Lets go" He said turning from the doctor and
running down the corridor. " Its all right I will have him" said Keto
turning and facing the now closing in EVE1 "AAAh No u won't" Dante laughed
and Picked up the Doctor throwing him over his shoulder and continuing his
run down the corridor. Keto who now had a pretty good view of the EVE 1 as
it closed in on the now sprinting Alota and Dante with Charlie buzzing next
to him, turned to Dante and kind of squeaked "You might want to step on it
people his closing in!" "Charlie you ready mate." "Try not to hurt him" said
Alota "Him hurt that yea" snapped Keto, and in reply to this Dante bounced
him a little to high and he smacked his head of a pipe and went silent.
Charlie gave Dante a weak wink and whizzed of back down the corridor to try
and annoy Jay a little and hold him off. There was a loading Bang and the
corridor fell silent apart from the stomping of feet as Dante and Alota
ground to a halt. "CHARLIE!!!" "JAY!!" Dante and Alota exchanged confused
looks and paused.
Sounds were heard again, mechanical sounds. Which considering both
participants in the conflict had been mechanical, or mechanically assisted
hearing mechanical sounds wasn't too surprising, only question was, which
mechanical machine was making aforementioned mechanical noises.
It wasn't long before the question was answered, as Charlie loomed around
the corner.
"CHARLIE!" Dante said cheerfully, then bit his tongue as he realised he'd
literally just cheered about the fact that Alota, who was stood right next
to him, could well now be widowed. He then realised his second mistake when
he noticed Charlie was attached to...well, being held in the air by the
EVE1's right arm, with Chrysler grinning insanely from the cockpit. He
watched dumbstruck as the hand that held the small droid released, and
dropped the heavily damaged robot to the floor. "So..." Jay's voice came
over the loudspeakers "Anyone else wanna play?!" he slowly approached the
crowd, deliberately taking his time for effect, Jay had after all always
been one for showmanship
The crowd began to back off, Keto however who had just awoken from his
"Hello Keto's head, meet ceiling, ceiling, meet Keto's head" incident,
decided to leg it and bolted around the corner
Jack, who was coming from the opposite direction could see terror in his
eyes. Jack could hear the sound Jays EVE
suit made, his eyes widened, and his fighting instinct rose up, using his
nano-bot communicators, Jack contacted the gun(tm) "gun, set up a defensive
perimeter around that medi-bay, no bug enters, if it does, boozify it!! use
the weaker stuff to keep your fuel supply up". At this point, the group had
reached Jack. "we've got to get out of here, we need to find somewhere that
we can hold of jay, he's got the EVE suit" said Alota, not really in her
usual commanding voice. "i know, i can hear it, you get out of here, i'll
hold him off, maybe it'll give you enough time to find somewhere to hide. If
you can find some booze, get to the medi bay, The Gun (tm) has set up a bug
free perimeter, you'll be safer there" The group continued past jack, as he
stood his ground, waiting for Jay-bug in his eve suit to come marching round
the corner, a bazookoid in his hand he had to try one thing to help himself
out of this mess... "Jay, Jay, I know you're in there, fight that bug,
you've got a stronger mind than anyone I know, if anyone can fight it, you
can, I know you're in there" he communicated, through the nano-bots straight
to Jays EVE suit, "I hope that helps, even a little" he said entirely to
himself. He didn't draw any weapons, not wanting to hurt Jay unless he
really had to. He flexed his muscles, and warmed himself up for battle.
<taggers, go for it jay, do what you want to me(apart from kill me of
course...), but don't take my sword!!! or I'll get really angry!!>
