This Much Pain

Who: Amber, Rufus
Where: Rufus' Quarters
When: Ten to something or Ten something... one of the hands on the
clock is missing.....

Wet tears rolled down Amber's face, the only other time she had been
in this much pain was in a shuttle accident during the time when Jay
thought he was a space pirate and even then she had passed out soon
after. Now however she didn't have the comfort of unconsiousness to
look forward to, only the sleepless nights, cramps headaches and all
number of other nasty aflictions. Her borther Rufus had gone to the
science department, he still had to work, even if Amber had been
fired. Amber sat on her brothers bathroom floor curled up in a near
foetal possition, every so often she would uncurl and throw up in the
toilet, but other than that she didn't move, it was too painfull. All
the things people had said to her and the events that had happened
were floating around in her mind, firing on the Death Jar when the
team were inside it, Jay firing her, her own father arresting her.
'if only I hadn't been so stupid' she thought 'if only i'd listened
to Jay, or told Dad. Now why should they like me? I'm just a washed
up excuse for a pilot, and a problem for Rufus. If I died here on
this bathroom floor who would miss me?' Another wave of cramp and
nausia flowed through Amber, banishing all her thoughts. She curled
up tighter in a ball and sobbed. Rufus had removed all the substances
from her and her belongings so she couldn't even go back to Bliss if
she wanted to. He had also packed up her stuff from her quarters and
put it in storage.
