The spy

Who: Special Agent Cerebrum, Special Agent Smith and Special Agent Smith
Where: Hymnoptera ship

"This is a bad situation," commented Cerebrum to Smith and Smith, as they
stalked along the corridors of one the the Hymnoptera ships. "This will no
doubt call for chaos, mayhem, death, violence and more akimbo pistol action
then you'd find in a John Woo movie."
"Don't you think the readers might be wondering how we got here?" commented
one of the Smiths.
"Good point, this calls for a flashback sequence!" cried out Cerebrum.
Flashback sequence
"Activate the teleporter!" Cerebrum commanded, then he and the Smiths
shimmered, and reappeared onboard one of the Hymnoptera ships.
End flashback sequence
"And there you have it," said Cerebrum.
"Sir, don't you think that creates more questions than it answers?" commented
one of the Smiths.
"Point. I'll make it longer this time," replied Cerebrum, as he swung up into
a ventilation shaft, which, by complete luck, happened to be big enough for
three relatively large individuals to walk along in comfort, as well plenty of
lighting. It also had maps in English, and a complete lack of anything
resembling a security system.
The return of the flashback sequence
Cerebrum was busy analyzing a patient, when his subspace cellphone rang. He
answered it, and received a reply.
"Zoinks!" he cried, and quickly dismissed his patient, pronouncing him cured.
It had been a message from ASS (The Agency of Secret Security), which Cerebrum
secretely worked for. They had placed a bug in General Bordinate's skull, and
knew that he was planning on attacking the Hymnoptera with the wormhole drive
(the bug had then failed, the warranty expired, so that's all they knew of his
plan. They had a low budget for this operation, so they were unaware of him
actually being a Hymnoptera. Alas, sometimes the intelligence services just
can't figure out everything.).
ASS agents were being held on a Hymnoptera prison ship to be interrogated the
integrated. It was Cerebrum's job to rescue them, or be tortured by the ASS
torturers for failing his mission. A teleporter had been secreted in the cargo
bay for his use.
Cerebrum quickly got into a black trenchcoat, sunglasses and fedora, and
gathered his two flunkies.
"Activate the teleporter!" he shouted at one of his mimes, and then he and his
flunkies appeared on the hymnoptera prison ship.
Back in the present
"And there you have it," Cerebrum said, as they dropped out the airvent into a
group of hymnoptera.
"Death, carnage, destruction!" he shouted, opening fire with his guns. "Man oh
man, I need to psychoanalyze myself, I'm enjoying this so much!"
