Lucky Watch
Cerebrum landed in a shoulder roll and came up standing. "Ah-ha!" he
shouted. "You can't hurt me as long as I've got my lucky watch."
"I thought psychiatrists didn't believe in luck!" Jay shot back, pausing as
he was turning to leave the room.
"That's right, we don't," agreed Cerebrum. "But I've been reliably informed
that a lucky watch will bring you luck whether you believe in it or not. If
it wasn't for a seagull dropping this watch on Keto's head, we would never
have met and conquered the universe."
That must be the change, Jay thought, turning back to face the emperor.
"And, ironically," continued Cerebrum. "It must have belonged to an ancestor
of Jay's, because look, it has Jay Chrysler inscribed on the inside, and it
looks as if it's been lying on the floor of the ocean for a hundred years."
And it was at that point that Jay realized what had been bugging him for
some time, as if something was missing but he couldn't figure it out. Well,
he just did. His watch was missing.
OOC: Okay people, it's time to play that fun game called kill off our
