Pyrogen? Maybe not...
<snip>
The smoke in the tube cleared and the group surrounded it to see if
Zodar really had become Pyrogen again, sat on the base of the tube
was a tiny feeble looking lizard, not more than a few inches tall,
he looked up at the group and flapped a pointed tongue out of his
mouth, then breathed a pathetic puff of smoke..
"well....we got...sparks..." Jay said "Not QUITE qwhat he had in
mind.."
"Whaddya mean?" asked Dragon Zo.
"Lets just say you went be setting anything bigger than a cocktail
stick alight.."
Zo hopped down, and Jay stepped forward
"Ok..my turn..." he said
<like, unsnip, man>
Once again keys were pressed and another intrepid Blue Dwarfer had
his genes jiggled.
Keith craned in, having not seen the gene-changing process properly
before.
"Wow! Pretty, innit? Like the formation of Zirconiums..."
"Just so long as he's not too badly changed when he comes out..."
Alota added, she was quite concerned that Jay may turn out to be some
wierd sheep-gelf thing when the Gene Changer opened.
*TRANFOMATION COMPLETE*
And the glass tube rose to reveal...
"Jay?"
"What dear...Ma'am?"
The assembled crew were having trouble taking this in.
"woah," Keith exclaimed "I am never going to mess with him again...!"
"What? What am i?" Jay was getting worried.
Dean, who hadn't spoken out of sheer astonishment managed to get some
words out.
"Just take a look Jay..."
Jay Chrysler looked down on the body of Jay Chrysler, it was black,
had interesting sharp edges, there were claws, talons instead of feet
and...
"Wings? I've got WINGS? Wow how COOL! Hey everybody, I've got wings!"
Keith, who knew a lot about birds drom mountaineering trips in search
of rare minerals, Piped up "They're big too, big enough to allow you
to fly, look like gliding bird's wings to me, you know, like an
Albatross..? Man, if that's the kind of mutation you get then I'm
next!"
Keith scurried across the floor and jumped straight into the
changer's tube, ready and willing.
"Ok, I'm ready, fire her up!"
Mean while, Jay was still struggling with the concept of what he was.
"...Wings...?"
