"A smegging hell of a lot bigger. " the front end of Evil Jay's chip was unfolding, spreading open like a flower's petals..only bigger, shinier and more metallic, oh and Eviller...and more dangerous...with a big glowing thing in the centre, so not really like a flower at all, more like a great big hurty thing.
"Smeg Jay" Phil said "Thats things got a diameter almost as big as the moon when it's open..."
Jay reached for the comm unit. "CHRYSLER TO ANYONE WITH A PILOTS LICENSE..report to shuttle bay's IMMEDIATLEY." Keto and Eve, and had found an antidote for the spores, at least a temporary one, based on Eve's discovery, which was now pumping through the vents across the ship. Jay spoke again "All official ship's pilots, get outside and stop that thing..Kara..youre leading the...."
"Youve been very naughty..." Kara's voice replied "And we know what happens to people who are very naughty Dont we Mr Flibble..."
"Rio, youre leading the mission" Jay replied.
"What about you?" Rio asked "Not joining us?"
"I gotta oversee the contingency plan..."
"Contingency plan?"
"In case you guys can't stop that thing... according to Holly, you got ten minutes before whatever that thing is, is ready to fire, I need you all back aboard by then, Everyone else with license's, await my orders, Engineering...I need every shuttle fuelled and ready to go in 8 minutes!" 
He walked over to the nav console and began tapping in commands.
