A minor internal alarm bleeped into existence to politely inform
Elwood that his fear circuits had just melted... which oddly didn't
seem to phase the skutter.
"Hmm... Miss Kara, may I ask what is going on..? And also, though it
isn't my place to say, that whatever you've done to your hair seems
to compliment the... er... pink in your eyes nicely"
He gave what he hoped was a friendly shrug. Jay had once told him
that if a woman was ever upset, compliment them... and especially pay
attention to their hair.
"And if you need help recycling those cans, I'd be glad to help" he
concluded, resisting the urge to swat at a cobweb that he could reach
from his near-ceiling vantage point.
