Phil was following behind when it hit him where he'd heard the voice the voice before..and ran after the party
 
"JAY DONT GO OUT THERE....IT'S...ah bugger...."
 
Standing in front of Jay.....was Jay....
 
Jay stopped in his tracks at the end of the disembarkation ramp and stared back into his own eyes.
"Welcome!" said Jays' double, holding out his hands, he was flanked by several 'ant troopers' "I trust you'll all be comfortable during your stay here" he continued, holding out his hand to the ambassadors and shaking in a friendly manner, and the crew, when he came to Jay, he again held out his hand,  but got no response other than a cold stare.
"understandable..." replied his mirror image.
Jay spoke "Tell me one thing..where did you come from?"
"I'd have thought it obvious, we've met many times, im hurt you dont remember me!" he said, smiling, but was again fixed with a stare in response.
"I am the Jay Chrysler from the parallel universe, chief of security of the Red Dwarf, the same Jay Chrysler that you once dubbed, quite unfairly 'evil jay'"
Jay said nothing, just reached down and fiddled with the gun holster on his left hip.
Evil Jay noticed this.
 "I understand your mistrust, Jay, we have never really seen eye to eye..but I guess your moral fibre rubbed off on me, after our...disagreement on Plebe, I wasn't in the best of health, I was taken in by  a Plebian hospital..although I question their medical knowledge, shortly after the hymenoptera arrived..they were, as as been the case many times before misunderstood, their intentions were believed to be hostile, but I was taken into their hive mind, as I'm sure furry friend and Mr Niples over there can tell you about, I spoke directly with them, and to me they revealed thier true intentions"
By this time the group were walking toward a tall building that appeared to be carved into a mountain, resembling a large anthill, the landscape itself was filled with giant spiked rocks, the sky black with thick clouds, from which thunder and lightnign crashed every few seconds, accompanied by a cold wind blowing from all directions.
"Wait..." said Jay "You're tellin' me that the 'bugs aint hostile?"
"Thats exactly what I'm saying"
"They decimated a tourist resort!"
 "They were trying to communicate, but you foolish cretins opened fire on them!"
"THEY KILLED THOUSANDS!"
"In self defence!" Evil Jay responded. "When they spoke to me thorugh their shared conciousness I relaised this, and agreed to help them"
Jay laughed at this. "you expect me to believe you wanna help someone out of the GOODNESS of your heart?"
"Like I said, your own moral fibre rubbed off on me, I've spent so long in your own dimension that I've learned that it isnt always necesarry to fight for what you want, that if you help people, they help you in return, the hymenoptera are much the same as humans, they dont look for war. they arent after conquest, just harmony with their neighbouring races. I agreed to be a spokesman for them, to help them get theyre point across and hope to lay the foundation for an unbreakable alliance between man and insect. They are like my children, my family"
Jay stopped and fell back to walk with Phil while "Evil" Jay ran up to the front to talk with the ambassadors and White Wolf.
"You don't trust him do you?" asked Phil.
"Would you?" Jay replied "The man is the living embodiment of everything I hate about myself, everything I've worked to avoid becoming...theres no way anyone as evil as him can suddenly become enlightened.."
Phil said nothing, just nodded, he knew what Jay was talking about, he'd experience the same situation before.
"Just promise me one thing Phil" said Jay "If he tries anything..and you cant tell which one of us is which......kill us both"

The ships were directing them towards what looked like a landing strip....There were things down there waiting for them...but at this distance to small to see what they were.
 
Final prepaertions were made for them to land. So they did.
 
"Well that was a nice and simple landing," said WW...
 
The ambassadors were lead out the ship once the doors had opened, by MP, who was thinking he was action man now, but with genitalia.
 
Nipples followed, then WW....then Jay...
