30 minutes later.
 
A  quick burst of flashed on the Phoenixes' bough and a small probe propelled itself toward the Ulysee's, stopping a few hundred metres short of the ship where small green and red lights blinked on opposite ends of the beacon.
Jay and Kara watched from the front viewport of the custom Blue Midget, both holding a salute as a mark of respect for their ex-colleagues.
"Rest in peace guys" Kara said softly, and lowered her right arm. "Beacons working" she said looking at the monitor "The Corp. should have no problem finding them to give them a proper burial"
Jay nodded, and plotted a course back to the Blue Dwarf.
 
Smoke billowed from beneath the black shuttle as it touched down, gradually coming to a halt and the exit hatch hissing open and lowering to the ground. Jay and Kara stepped down, and walked across the shuttlebay in silence.
Amber came across and handed Jay a clipboard, which he looked over and without looking up said "Why is my deputy making Big Macs?"
"E-bay" Amber replied "Mrs Richards bought him..oh and Efof bought some of Doctor Ketos ointments for te pilots lounge...#145698, #4446 and #00032"
Jay looked at Amber blankly.
"Marmite, Strawberry Jam and Chicken and vegetable flavour cup-a-soup"
"Ah"  Jay shook his head and just signed the clipboard anyway. "Can you get a messgae to the captain and your dad for me?" he asked the teenager. "Tell hem Kara and I found something they might wanna check out on a planet we passed on the way back here...."
