This may be worse than you think...

Kara landed on the planet where the distress came from after the long
repairs on her new ship. She stepped outside and heard a horrible squish
beneath her boot. She looked down and noticed the entire ground was one big
swamp. She lifted her boot up and found something that smelled like two week
old carcass(not that I know what it smells like).
She took a large jump from the ship and hoped she would land on something
stable. Her feet sunk into a large pile of what can only be referred to as
gunk. She climbed out and found some stable ground. Then she realized that
it might of been smart to bring a bazookoid God knows what she might run
into here.
She trugged(yes big word.) through the swamp and eventually found a cave.
