A Somewhat Baffling Encounter

Walking down the corridor, Sydra walked along the corridor she thought that she heard a faint buzzing sound. Turning around, she saw a toy airplane flying up from behind. Stopping she stared for a moment as it approached. The toy finally reaching Syd, it hovered around her head gingerly. Swatting once at it as if it were a fly Sydra, disregarded the question of what a toy plane was doing flying about anyway, and continued on. As the buzzing ceased, Syd turned yet again to find the small toy now replaced by a large green blob. "What in the buggery bollocks is that?" she asked herself placidly. With that, the blob transformed into the visage of Sidney Tempest, Sydra's father and replied simply, "Polymorph." Cocking her head to one side with bewilderment, Syd stated, "Dad?" The Polymorph stared at Sydra with complacency as he said, "Not exactly." Now even more bewildered than before, Syd queried, "Pardon?" Now with slight aggravation the Polymorph exclaimed, "You think you would recognize one of us when you see one!" Staring at what the former blob now in her father's form, Sydra asked, "Ummmm, what exactly does that mean?" With a hearty chuckle, the Polymorph said, "All in good time little one." With that he transformed into a raven and flew off with a shrill caw, leaving the Ops officer untouched. Perplexed Sydra looked on after. Deciding she should probably attempt to follow, she continued on in the same direction that the Polymorph had headed*tai nasha no karosha*
