**Action** Parallels pt 4

<OOC- Ok theres been a lot of confusion in the plot about where everything fits in, so heres a small recap. The nice BD is attacked and destroyed by the Fatba. The Evil BD comes in and chases the Fatba away. Then the Fatba turn their attention to us.>
 
**Action**       "Parallels part 4"
Onboard our Blue Dwarf
 
Commander Niples inhaled deeply as the female version of Harris came on the screen. She seemed to be eating something leftover in a KFC bargain bucket- or at least thats what he hoped it was.
 
"I'm Captain Harris of the Warship Blue.....erm, whatever." snarled the woman on the screen. "WHO ARE YOU?" she barked.
 
Niples swallowed hard. "I am Commander Seymour Niples of the Jupiter mining coreporation ship...."
 
The mention of his name seemed to strike something within the cold and aggresive appearence of Harris as she blinked and moved closer to the screen, holding her hand out to try and picture the commander.
 
"I killed you!" she said.
 
Of all the things Seymour anticipated in a first-contact transmission like this one, the words "I killed you" weren't high on the list.
"Pardon" he said.
 
"I killed you. The same way I killed that Captain Cannon guy. I really hated him right from the start."
 
Johnson who was sat out of view whispered to the cmdr. "I think she means in her universe, sir."
 
The screen turned to static and the connection was severed. Leaving the BD drive room crew staring at an outside view of the "Evil" Blue Dwarf. It seemed to be hanging there, waiting.
 
Then Captain Cannon decided to make an appearence, drinking a diet pepsi. "Is there anything you need my expertise with?" he asked.
Niples wondered if the Captain was actually an expert at anything and settle for a simple "No, everythings going fine without you."
 
****"Evil" Blue Dwarf drive-room*****
 
"How can they be another version of us?" barked Harris. "We just saw the other one get destroyed."
"They might be from another dimension altogether." mused Jimmy Johnson from the other side of a pile of scrap metal and half-eaten meals which had piled up on the drive-room because Phil "Oh God" Febuggure had shot the cleaner.
 
Jimmy loooked up again, ideas shooting through his head.He was definately the sharpest on the bridge. But the phrase 'knowledge is power' didn't exist in the universe they had come from. It had been replaced with 'the man with the largest baseball bat with nails has more power than the guy with the unshielded testicles'.
 
Jimmy spoke up. "If they are from another universe, then they must have a dimension jump drive just like ours. It would probably be in better nick too...."
 
This was enough to cath Captain Harris' attention. She ran her fingers through her hair and then took them away from her armpits.
Her voice was cold, but there was a smile tugging at the edges of her mouth as she said:
"Battlestations!"
 
 
****(Normal) Blue Dwarf Drive room*****
 
Zack ran onto the bridge and turned to the Commander.
"Sir, we have a plan" he said.
 
 
****McKenzies shop****
 
The lights were off, it didn't seem that anyone was in. The promenade seemed pretty empty too, he might just be able to get away with it.
 
Whitewolf the 6 foot 1 inch hamster was stood across the promenade from the shop. He was in a small dark allyway with his back to the wall. When the coast was clear he dropped to all fours and scuttled across the street, knocking the door down gently with his forehead when he got there.
Inside he looked around for what he wanted, he saw the holographic-suits and stuffed them into his cheeks. He already had a guilty conscience even though he knew his crime was justified, he was going to help save the entire ship with them.
 
Looking both ways onto the promenade, he quickly scurried out again and away.
 
The next people who came across the smashed down door of McKenzies didn't have a justified reason to loot it.
 
 
*****Somewhere on the (normal) Blue Dwarf*****
Gent's Toilets
 
There was a lot of screaming in agony.
There was a lot of pain.
There was a small "plip"
 
And Kayn-2 walked out of the toilets. Despite the "niceness" training he's been given in this uiniverse he didn't flush the toilet. He loved to defy everything he'd been taught.
 
For Phil's light-bee, it was a good job he hadn't flushed or else Phil would be quite literally down the drains. Managing to absorb some hydrogen molecules from the rank water, Phil recharged his batteries and managed to project his true form again.
 
He climbed out of the toilet and brushed himself down.
 
Then an explosion rocked the ship.
 
The Blue Dwarf shuddered after being hit by a torpedo from the Battleship Blue Dwarf.
The battleship had closed to within 1000 metres and was firing all that it had. The front of the Blue Dwarf was hit five times, the small explosions sent shocks down the full length of the mining ship.
 
****Blue Dwarf Drive room****
 
"Can we evade?" asked Niples, getting up on his feet after being knocked down by the last blast that hit them.
 
The entire drive room crew looked at him with an expression which sarcastically meant "with a ship this size?!!!"
 
Seymour took that as the negative and turned to the sensor station. He put a hand on Kayns shoulder to steady himself, which also told the sensor operator that he was about to speak to him.
 
"It there any planets in the area?"
Kayn looked at the virtual map in front of him and quickly pointed one out as another shake of the ship tipped his coffee over the keyboard.
"Theres a small moon 12,000 clicks away. It will take us 5 mins to get there."
 
Niples turned to Nik at the pilots seat. "Take us to that moon, I want to hide behind it."
 
The thought of retreat and cowardice is frowned upon by many, (usually those not in this situation). But it was their only hope. The Blue Dwarf didn't have any weapons to fight back with, and it definately didn't have any armour plating or shielding to protect tham against the lethal weapons of the battleship.
 
The Blue Dwarf slowly turned away from the battleship towards the moon. The battleship pursued, bringing itself parallel with the mining ship and blasting it with the 50 energy-bolt turrets mounted down the side of the long ship.
 
"We'll never make it in time!" screamed Kayn.
 
 
*****Science lab****
 
Whitewolf put the holo-suits on a table and began ripping the holo-projectors out of each of them.
Phil suddenly appeared and helped him. They then went and found Steev to help them install the profectors on the outer hull of the ship quickly.
 
 
***Drive-room***
 
Niples had heard Zack's plan and it still sounded confusing to him, Zack kept mentioning something called "Mica dust".
Niples just decided to trust the science officer and let him get on with it.
 
****4 minutes later****
 
The Blue Dwarf was taking a severve beating now, there were scarrs and tears in the hull from torpedo hits and black burns streaching down the side of the ship where energy weapons had singed them.
 
Injured were being rushed down to sickbay where Dr. Keto had to administer lots and lot of burn cream.
 
The moon was only one minute away, but thy weren't going to last another 30 seconds if the warship kept on firing.
 
Niples had to assume that they wanted to destroy the ship and pick the technology from their floating wreck. But he never gave up.
 
 
***Drive room***
We can't take 5 more hits sir!" screamed Kay. "four...threee...two!!!" he counted down as the ship shuddered after more explosions.
Kayn was almost in tears as he shouted "One". And bit his lip expecting the final blow.
 
Niples closed his eyes, waiting for the ship to split open- spilling them all into the airless void.
 
Silence.
 
They all opened their eyes and began breathing again.
The warship had stopped firing.
 
"Why have they stopped?" asked Johnson.
Kayn pressed a button and put the reverse-view on the viewscreen. There in the middle of space, was a huge yellow....
 
....Pikachu, directly in front of the warship.
 
The warship was steering hard to their left to avoid collision with the unknown object.
"What....?" chorused everyone.
 
then the voice of Whitewolf came over the intercom.
"Holographic projection up and running." he stated. "Albeit a bizarre choice of holographic models- but it was the first choice on the projection options....."
 
Then the object flickered and faded out. The batteries on the holographic projectors going dead.
 
But it was all they needed, the Blue Dwarf made it to the moon where they hid behind, in orbit. The warship followed closely but positioned itself on the opposite side of the moon, trapping the mining ship in. If they tried to make a break for it- the warship would undoubtebly strike.
 
They were safe to make repairs. For now.

OOC- Ok people, I hope this gives you all something to do!
The engineers can organise repairs, Whitewolf and Zack can you please wait before you go and destroy the ship, then we can get everyone else involved too.
