With the screwdriver psycho distracted, Elwood quickly whirred away
and, passing his saviour's feet, stopped near the end of the corridor.
The skutter would have stayed to see what happened to the two people,
or at least to see who the security officer was, but there was a
floor shaking explosion ((that'll be a certain place getting blown up
again)).
If he'd learnt to sigh, then that's what Elwood would have done. As
it was however, he just turned and whizzed out of the corridor...

When: A few minutes and several downward staircases (ouch) later than
the last skutter-related madness

Another polite warning from his internal computer informed Elwood
that he had 30 minutes of power left, but he ignored it, as there
were more important things that needed attention.
Shaking off the last effects of the final stairwell and picking
himself up, the lone skutter started to clean up what was left of an
occasionally popular fast-food restaurant...
((and that's where he's been all this time [pathetic excuses!] -
obviously, he'll have switched back to the main power feed once BD
regained power))
