<END SNIP>The rescue squad had just settled into another game of "Go Fish" when the call came through.
"<tssh>Blue Dwarf? ...you read...."
Dean pushed off the table and his wheeled chair spun across, missed the comm console and smashed into the drive one instead, then, backspinning came to a rest next to the comm unit. "Trick Shot." he grinned, dazed. Lomaz held up a big cardboard 10.
"This is the Blue Dwarf, can you read me?"
 
Alota stared at the comms unit in disbelief, it was knackered! She'd only managed to hear "..is....you...me?"
"What? There's a terrible line at my end! You're to advance on the enemy at once!" she shouted at the comm (all BlackAdder Goes Forth Fans know where this is headed)
"at?...There's...line at my end.....advance...enemy...once."
"What was that?" Allie asked Dean
"Something about having a lion up her bottom, and there's an advance to an enema at once."
"Figures, if Jay's leading the mission." said Rio. "Suppose we should go and help them out."
"Come on." said Allie, sighing, putting her cards down and stretching as she got up from her chair, "Let's go."
 
The Starbug lifted off the ground, wobbled, spun 180 degrees, aimed for teh centre of the open bay doors and blasted into space.
 
"12 minutes guys." said Allie, sitting at the science console. Dean was piloting, Amber was co-piloting and Rio was at navigation. The others (minus Cain) were sitting or standing in the midsection.
Dean spoke into the inter-ship comm console, "In the highly likely event of an accident, please adopt the crash procedure. In-flight magazines are stored in their lockers, which are clearly marked. Thank-you."
"Now we wait." said Lomaz,
"Yup." said Allie.
"Damn, this trip means I'm gonna miss Baywatch." said Dean, then sensing the complete lack of sympathy, suddenly remembered he was in a room full of women. "Not that it matters!"
"Can it. That's an order" said Allie.
"Yes ma'am." said Dean, then, nodding to Allie, they took the ship into a wide turn which angled them towards the planet.
 
<11 minutes later>
 
"Oooh! Look at the pretty ship, it's glowing." said Dean,
"It is kinda hypnotic." said Amber,
"Yeh..." said Allie.
"We're GONNA CRA...!" started Lomaz, ducking under the console.
The Starbug flew into the vomit-made ship, and did not impact, it merely ripped the vomit apart.
"Hey! This could be easier then we thought!" said Dean, seeing the Space Eagel fly along side them.
"That one was mine!" said Kara.
"Sorry, it wasn't actually intentional. Where the others?" asked Allie
"You just covered them in vomit."
"Oh." said Amber
"We can fix that!" said Lomaz, getting up a flicking a switch.
The bug opened its water tanks, dumpnig thousands of gallons of water on the team below, and whilst it broke up some of the ships and some of the bugs, many of the bugs lifted the ships and took them to safety.
"Well, the team is clean at least." said Dean, trying to put a positive spin on the situation.
"I think we'd better land and apologise." said Allie
"Kara, can you keep an eye on teh other bugs?"
"Sure thing."
"Thanks. Lt. Thomas? Take her down."
"Aye Aye Ma'am."
The 'Bug landed next to the bedraggled crew.
