Guess not. Oh well I'll do something else....
Kara looked around and on one took her offer. She left the bar and made her
way back to her quarters. She laid down and stared at the gray celing.
"Dead? Am I really dead? I was a ace pilot and look at me now complete and
total smeghead ignored by the crew. Smeg!"
She buried her head under her pillow and then got an idea. She ran out of
the room and went down to the docking bay. She went into one of the Starbugs
and sat down in the pilot seat.
"God I miss those days when we went joyriding when ever we got pissed. And
when I used to fly these babies like I was born with the ability."
She gripped the controls and acted like she was flying it.
"If me old mates saw me now they'd think I had gone down to the bottom row."
She kicked her feet up onto the control board and looked out the window at
the docking bay outside.
"That's what I need a good mission with plenty of flying and action. I
really want to prove myself but what can I do?"
