"GUYS!" said Jay, looking in the rear view monitor, and seeing half a dozen
Amadeun fighters closing on him. "You heard of afterburners?!"
"Were coming as quick as we can Jay! Cant you hold em off?" Dean said
"DEAN! its a goddam oiltanker! what am i supposed tohol them off with?"
"The weapons"
"WHAT weapons?!" Jay looked over the control panel, while simulteneously
banking to the right to avoid a barrage of weapons fire, seeing nothing of
use he said "There ARE no weapons!"
Another round of laser fire was fired, Jay, lfted the shuttle just enough
for it to skim underneath.
"What the hell? They want the oil back but they dont mind detonating
it?!...these guys need a science lesson.." jay muttered.
Deans voice came over the comm again. "ETA one minute...Jay, that shuttles a
Turtle 43 , they were released after hijacking sky-rocketed, the were given
weapons so the pilot could defend the cargo!"
"I'm telling ya theres no.....wait a sec..."
from the corner of his eye Jay caught a second control stick, not a flight
control stick but a weapons control stick. "Ok..." Jay said "It's got
weapons but i need a co pilot to use em!"
"Damn.." said Dean
"ETA 45 seconds!" Kara said.
Jay was getting frustrated, he was being shot but couldnt shoot back. from
above, below, behind and either side of him there were fighters intent on
blowing him out of the sky.
He tried reaching over to the wepaons control panel with his right arm,
keeping his left on the flight stick.
"I cant reach it!" he said, as a McDonald drink container fell on his lap
from the dashboard.
He'd had enough.
Dean Kara and Amber arrived, shooting down a few fighters as they did so.
Without warning a blast of laser fire fired from a turret atop the tanker,
sweeping around taking out 3 shuttles.
"Jay?" said Kara "I thought you couldnt fire"
"heh...you know me better than to give up!"
Dean flew past the cockpit chasing a fighter, and did a double take as Jay
was stretched across the cockpit of the tanker shuttle, working the weapons
with his hands and piloting...with his feet.
