The wormhole cannon was ready. Before he went though Phil had one more adustment to make to it.
 
"Basically I want to use the wormhole to drop me and MP back at the planet where the've got the Admiral. I'll then signal WW and we can commence the operation."
 
"Sounds like a sound plan..Only one problem..." said Nipples
 
"Which is what?"
 
"Who is gonna operate the cannon to open the portal to earth.."
 
"Oh that's what I was doing before I started talking to you. Once me and MP have gone though, it'll automtaclly reconfigure itself to a Earth-NI linkage. The secuirty codes will then scramble so it can only be used for that purpose, nothing else"
 
"Oh right...Is it safe?"
 
"Why do you ask?"
 
"Well...How can I put this Phil......You...devices have a nasty habit of not working the way you plan them to..."
 
"A good point sir...and if YOU'd been killed, turned into a hologram, then made flesh, possed by an eveil duplicate of yourself, had your mind copy into a spacesship, killed again and THEN had a dodgey minture clone version of yourself made before being resurected, WHILST being stuck in a time loop, AND have your inventions criticesed by everyone, then by all means sir, feel free to have a moan...."
 
Niples waited, slightly shocked by Phil's outburst.....
 
"You okay old man...?"
 
"Yeah, it's just ever since I brought Vannesa back and I got zapped by the time fridge, things have been a little bit...odd..."
 
Niples put his hand out for Phil to shake.."Good luck on the mission..."
 
Phil fired the cannon a blue swirly-thing(tm) opened on the beach, giving one of those dodgey blockes who try and sell you crap watches the fright of his life.
 
"You too...MP, get your midget butt over here...We're going to prodd buttock...."
