Next Morning
James woke up in his doubles room with a sore arse.
"Damn I wish I'd never slept on the floor!" he cursed.
He left his double sleeping in order to go and get some breakfast. He opened
the door, only to see a stark naked hologram charge past him.
"Sheesh! Phil The Bugger's double is really weird!" James said to himself.
Phil was followed by a heavily built security officer, who was then followed
by a knife weilding Kayne laughing manically.
"Oh god," James groaned, "This universe is run by Benny Hill!"
The ship shook.
"Will James Johnson please report to the drive room... our James Johnson
that is," Holly said.
James panicked, he'd kept his double up all night!* There was no way his
double would wake up any time soon. James paused, then decided, he'd have to
take his double's place...
DRIVE ROOM
James strolled into the room nonchalantly, mimicking his double's movements
to a T. He sat down at the communications console, and panicked. It was so
complicated!
Without warning the screen in front of him lit up, and Efof appeared on the
screen!
"Hi Ef... Hi sweety, please identify yourself," James recovered.
"Hi am Captain Efof Yuw'anker, I apologise profusely, but your ship has been
contaminated by an extra-dimensional source, I'm afraid for the safety of
the universe as we know it I'm going to have sterilise you..."
"Oh don't worry sir, we've been meaning to have a bit of a spring clean
round here anyway!" James said, worried about how easily he became... like
his double.
"Right, we will sterilise you right away then..." Captain Efof said, "With
these great big guns..."
*They talked a lot.
