He took a brief sniff around before turning to Eve and struggling to convey what he was trying to get across. "Do you have any toys, favorite...uh...erm...food? We might entice the cat if we had some of these things." Doom continued to search round the driveroom for any sounds or shapes that could be attributed to these mewling balls of fur which seemed so popular for companionship for humans. "I mean they don't even talk all they do is sleep and whine when they're hungry" Doom thought to himself. Nonetheless they must find this cat or his quest to prove his ability to help sometimes would fail miserably.<END SNIP>"He's never run away like this before, I don't understand it, I mean it was just an explosion, he's been around plenty of those's when I'm experimenting""Maybe he didn't... um..." Doom was trying to put this sentence nicely, so as not to hurt the girl's feelings "... didn't get away... er... in time.""How dare you say that!" Eve turned to Doom, walked right up to him and grabbed him by the front of his shirt, Eve's eyes slowly filled with blood as they had so many times before, the green in her eyes disappeared leaving her black pupils in a sea of red, Doom could see he had clearly pissed her off, he struggled in her grip, she had become quite strong. "Rimmer! What are you doing?"The voice belonged to a female officer, a high ranking one too, Eve didn't know her name. Eve's eyes returned to normal, she turned her head to the woman as she released Doom."Arh, sorry ma'am... we're just looking for my... never mind, sorry"Eve walked quickly out of the DriveRoom with her head down, Doom followed, he quest was hardly completed."I'm... arh... what I mean is... i'm sorry."Eve could see that it was very hard for Doom to admit he was in the wrong, though her attack had had made her more so."I'm sorry too, I didn't hurt you at all did I?""Not in the slightest for I am DOOM!" Eve giggled, Doom's head snapped in her direction, she bit her bottom lip and smiled."Shall we continue our search?"Doom's sentence flowed effortlessly'MOW' Their heads turned to the sound as a black and white cat saunted around a beam in front of them, brushing his body along the corners, getting a good rub from the metal."Ares... Baby!"The cat looked at Eve, it's head to one side 'MOW' it retorted as it quickly trotted over to her and leapt in her arms, purring he pushed the top of his head into her chin, placeing his scent on her, sniffing her at the same time as well as just plain saying hello.
