Rufus rubbed his eyes the dark rings around them showing the lack of sleep over the past few days, he took another sip of coffee just before the skutter came back through the 'time tunnel'
"What did they say this time?" Rufus asked the skutter he had named Milo
*Click click whistle clickety click* went Milo
"Seriously? and they want Tria back?.... nice deal....."
*click*
"That was sarcasm... do you know what happens to most people who fail job applications there?"
*click click*
"They dont come back..... ever" there was silence for a few minutes then Rufus transferred Tria into a 'holly watch' before picking up another time tunnel device he had made and sending a message to his mum.
*click!*
"Don't worry, i'll be back. I'm only going to have a look around" Rufus pushed some buttons on the bulky device and stepped into the tunnel which closed after him....
