Rufus had managed to pin down a skutter and remove it's shell, much to the poor critters protests.
"Don't worry. Once I install this you'll perform much better" The skutter whirred in protest as Rufus tightened the screws of his new invention and attached it to the skutters motor "Besides... i'm not gonna try it out on myself am I?" he added under his breath. Rufus made the final adjustments ans put the shell back on the skutter "Now I just want you to nip into the STCP HQ and bring me back a temporal flux stabilizer ok?" The skutter whirred and drove off into a skutter sized swirly thing. A few hours later it returned...
"Where the hell have you been?" Rufus demanded. The skutter whirred and dropped a piece of machinery on the floor.
"Careful! It's very delicate..... what?" the skutter had continued to whirr on.
"What do you mean...."
*Whirr click whirr whirr*
"How can....?"

"I know. But it's not possible..."

"Thats right.... unless..... are you thinking what im thinking?"

"Holy smeg...... Should I......?"

"Your right.... I should just carry on and see what happens." Rufus picked up the temporal flux stabilizer and removed the skutters shell added the stabilizer and put the shell back on.....
