He stood up "I'd say the oil supply to Earth is in safe hands....",
he said in a satirical tone, "Doctor ensure The admiral gets taken to
his quarters" he said addressing Cerebrum "and if you can do anything
for his....misplaced marbles...even temporarily please do whatever it
takes."
He turned to face Jay.
"Lt Cmdr Chrysler please enusre you notify me as soon as we reach
Amadeus 5."
He got no response.
"Jay?"
Alota looked up, rubbing Jays back gently, "he drank something that
didnt agree with him commander, soem wine Dean brought back with him
apparently..."

Zack Richards stood apprehensively behind Penfiddle the lawyer as he
stuck his head in the doorway and asked, "Um... Captain, Could My
clients and I reserved this room next?"
White Wolf rubbed his forehead in a spasm of headache and blurted
out, "Yeah... Sure, Whatever after we're done with it, Ok?"
Penfiddle nodded and the pair turned to leave, just as the huge
hamster noticed Mr. Richards was wearing the JMC commanders insignia
and he said puzzledly, "When did he join the JMC and get promoted to
commander?"
The huge hamster shook his head, and continued "Anyways, that reminds
me, Since I'm acting captain until the JMC assigns us a permenant
captain, I'm gonna need a new Executive Officer since Allie told me
she hated doing it the last time. Since it's only going to be
temporary, whoever it is, is going to have to pitch double duty with
their regular job until things get back to normal around here and I
know from personal experience it's tough job & trying job by itself
so whoever it is should be dedicated and expect some hard work ahead.
Now - which one of you wants to volunteer for the job?"
The room was deathly silent for several long seconds, as the huge
hamster glanced about the room eyeing everyone who was present very
carefully to see who would get the job as XO.
Then suddenly, Jay projectile barfed all over the briefing rooms
table, nailing the rotund hamster with a rather drizzly looking glob
of vomit.
"Hmm... That's not exactly the enthusiam I was expecting, but I guess
you get the job, Jay." Says the overgrown hamster while taking out a
hanky and wiping the glob off his left cheek.
The huge hamster paused was pointedly looking at several of the empty
chairs around the briefing room before continuing, "And in your
upcoming spare time I want you to do a complete roll call of every
crewmember on board. Because after that, I think I'm going to be
asking your recommendations for promotions & replacements for a few
these vacant seats..."
Taking a deep breath turning to face the other assembled staff
members, the huge hamster said, "Right, We've all heard what Admiral
Buttecus said. But I think I need to make it more clear. This next
mission of our is of the upmost importance for earth according to
this JMC special order, Our assignmet is to escort the Admiral to
Amadeus 5, where he will negotiate a special oil supply renewal
agreement plus an emergency shipment of oil which we are supposed to
bring back to earth before their temporary oil reserve runs out
in..." he glances at the paper on the table and continues,"well, it
used to be a month of time to spare, but because we're late, we've
got about a week left before thier remaining oil supply starts
scraping the bottom of the barrel back on earth."
There was a knock at the door, and Penfiddle stuck his head in again
and asked, "Um... Captain? When will this room be available?"
The huge hamster shook his head and rolled his eyes in disbelief, and
then said to everyone at the briefing table, "Well I guess that's it
for my briefing and you all know what we're supposed to do, So let's
all return to our posts and do our jobs."
Then everyone in the room quickly filed out of the briefing room as
the Richards shuffled in, followed by Penfiddle & Cerebrum.
