Blood is thicker than water

"Eve what are you doing?""I'm HH negative, just like my mother, doesn't seem that rare after all hey." Eve's voice quavered as she tried to laugh at the end as she felt herself become weaker.

Amber convulsed on the table.
"What's happening" Eve asked. Tara gasped.
"You don't have gelf blood". Tara disconected Eve from the machine. "She was rejecting your blood, Eve it's dangerous to just connect yourself up ok." Tara patched up Eve's arm. She got out a small kit and took a sample of Ambers blood. She waited for a result and after a few minutes a reading popped up. Tara's face became puzzeled. "She is HH negative, or AB negative as it is more commenly known. But, there is traces of gelf blood in her system as well. Rufus and Phil have AB- but neither have the same type of gelf blood as her. It's odd, i've never seen anything like it." Eve gave her a look that said 'what the hell are you on about'.
"Phil is half gelf with AB- blood. Rufus and Amber inherited some of his gelf genes. So technicaly they should all have the same blood. I know Rufus and Phil do but Ambers is.... different....." Tara explained. Tara walked over to a wall console and patched the blood type through the computer. The search came back with no results.
"Does that mean...." Eve began
"No one on board has the same blood type as Amber. She has enough, but it won't be long before........ Theres nothing we can do....." Tara sat on a chair next ot Amber, practically giving up hope.
"Are you sure?" Eve asked.
"Unless you can find someone with the same blood type then no.... nothing" Tara held Ambers hand as if holding it would keep the inevitable away........ <Tag......(jay?)>
