Tara and Eve grabbed a couple of bags each of equipment and ran out.
"Living quarters q12-s6, q12-s6, why does that sound familiar?" Zodar couldn't shake the feeling he had forgotten something, neither could Eve.

Tara jogged along the corridor
"Eve, before I forget. In this box is all you need for the DNA test." Tara handed Eve a small metal box. Eve took it and put it in a pocket. The two reached the habitation deck and stared at the mangled Space Eagle.
"The captain won't be happy about this. Neither will Jay." Tara said reaching for the landing ramp. Tara walked on followed by Eve. The smell of burning consoles filled the air, sparks fizzed off wall panels. Tara opened the door to the cockpit and gasped when she saw Amber. She hurried over to her and pushed back some hair from her face.
"Amber? Amber honey can you here me!" Tara said tears springing to her eyes. The teenager made no response. Tara felt for a pulse with shaky hands. Eve put her hand on Tara's shoulder.
"Lets get her to the medi-bay" Eves face was just as white as Tara's.
Together the two of them gently carried Amber into the medi-bay. The place was in chaos but Tara hardly noticed. All that mattered was getting Amber to the intensive care unit. Tara carefully hooked up the monitors and the steady bleep of the heart monitor was vaguely comforting.
"Eve, tell Coffee that she is in charge till Keto gets back." Tara got a few things out of a cupboard and started to dress Amber's wounds, applying anaesthetic and removing metal shards where necessary. Eve watched for a moment as mother cared for daughter. As she was leaving she thought she heard Tara say,
"I will never leave you. Not like my mother. I promice. Just don't leave me first."<Tag>
