Send in the clones! - part 2 (j.p between Tara and Phil)

When : After Rufus was mistaken for the owner of the company

The twins walked into the main recpetion hall of the building. There was a stunned silence..someone was heard to utter
"Oh shit we are in for it now."
"Carry on... urm... Smeg features" Rufus said in a pompous voice. Amber wispered something in Rufus ear. He nodded to her.
"Good point....You there, lacky!"
"Er me sir?" asked a rather nervous lokking employee.
"Yes you. Where is the cloning equipment kept in this place."
"Where it's normaly kept...sir in the Genitics Expermints Lab"
"Which is where?"
"Is this some kind of test?"
"Of course it is you stupid moron what is your name?" The man thought very quickly.
"I.P Freely sir." Rufus was about to moan at poor fellow when he noticed his name badge. It did indeed bear the name 'I.P. Freely'
"Well. Sir, it's quite simple it's on the 68th floor" The employee shuffled his feet nervously
"That will be all  moron" Rufus headed for the stairs Amber a step behind him. They walked up the stairs and to a waiting lift. Getting into the lift they found the button marked 68th Floor and punched it.
** 5 mins later **
"This is far too easy.." said Rufus..
"I know, " replied Amber.
"Did you see that bike parked on the 65th Floor."
"Noted for a possible escape route o brother of mine" The lift juddered to a halt and the twins stepped out onto the 68th floor. Amber looked around
"So, brain of britan. Which one is it?" Rufus looked about the room, I can't see it here, let's look in another room"
"I wouldn't move another step if I were you" Amber and Rufus turned around and were confronted by four men in blue suits, looking rather menacingly at them.
"Ahhh. I think right now you should speak, " mouthed Amber out the corner of her mouth. "I've just spoted the cloning device over there. I't marked 'The cloneing device' You distract them, I'll make a run for it okay?" Rufus Nodded. He though very quickly and dcided to use a tactic favored by his father.
"Oh look What's that over there?"
"We are..." said one who appeared to be the leader
"The Greeks" they all said in unison and punched the air
"We wont fall for a silly trick like that, You are not the president." The man clicked his fingers two of the blue suited people jumped forwards and grabbed Amber the other two left grabbed Rufus "We will see what he has to say about imposters" said the leader who now had hold of Rufus' arm. They were dragged though the main lab and up two sets of stairs. They were shoved into a room. a BIG room. with a small table a a chair turned around, back facing them. The chair spoke to them.
"Why are you here and what the hell are you doing impersonating me?" Amber who usually had a response to everything was stumped on this one. Rufus however had a bright idea
"If you turn around, we may be able to answer you properly"
"I don't know why you are ordering me about when it is YOU who were trespassing" The chair turned around and revealed a man in his early 20's with blonde hair and blue eyes, and who was identical to Rufus except in age. The room fell silent as the two people looked into identical faces, like a mirror.
"Blimey" gasped Amber.
"Indeed." Replied the Man in the chair, who got up and walked over to stand in front of Rufus. "I must say the resembalnce is unkanny. Although of course, I'm much more hansome then you, boy!" Rufus was dumbstruck. This was what he'd pictured himself to look like in a few years time.
"We, I mean. I can't belive it. We look exactly the same" Rufus said finally finding his voice. Amber butted in
"We came here because we need some cloning equiptment to make a clone of our father because....." ans Amber explained in great detail to the man about how Phil had got himself inside the Phoenix. The man sat down behind his desk, a look of shock on his face.
"Your fathers mind. In a spaceship. Incredible...And you say that you can transfer his mind to a cloned body. Very well, I'l make a trade with you. You can have the cloning equipment on two condidtions. 1) I want a design scemtic of the device you plan to transfer his mind and 2...)" The man paused
"What's two?" Asked Rufus.
"I want a DNA sample. From your father."
"No way. You can't have that!" Cried Amber.
"Very well. But I insist on sending one of my men to protect the device AND to make sure your keep your end of the bargin...otherwise...wll as we all know deep space can be ....dangerous...." There was a Pause. "Do we have a bargin?" Amber fumed in the background two of the Greeks still had hold of her, but Rufus had been let go of
"I'm waiting for an answer boy" the man said. Rufus looked at his sister for help but the gun in the small of her back warned her against helping him
"Ruf I..." the gun pressed into her back and she shut up
"I suppose we have to" Rufus identical twin smiled
"Fine choise" he nodded to a Greek and The twins were about to be let go, but only Rufus was given a path to the lift, a guard moved around Amber so she had three 'guards' the last remaining Greek walked over to the lift.
"What's all this?" Rufus asked worried for his sister.
"Simple. It's Insurance. I send the device with with it's guard. You get the plans for the mind transfere bring them to me, you get your sister......... You know what, I'll even let you keep the device. Afterall it's experimental and I don't want it cluttering up the place. I'll leave the descion up to you.."<To be continued>
