OOC-BLUE DWARF BIRTHDAY

Two years ago today a man had a vision....
A vision of pressing a button...
A button named "Start a new group".
And the Blue Dwarf was born. The first Red Dwarf game on the internet
played over e-mail that was a success. The only competition we could
find was one called the "pink Dwarf" which had less than 5 members
and had a grand total of 6 posts ever written.
And in the time since we've written over five thousand, one hundred
and fifty posts. Imagine if they were pages in a book, that would be
some book! I definately wouldn't want to be hit over the head with it!
I'm very proud to have been on the Blue Dwarf, I was there at its
ccreation- but it is you, the members who have made this group what
it is today. Something fun, always entertaining and original. The
story is never predictable, there is always something interesting
going on, and we have had some of the craziest characters I have ever
known, from a 12th Century bard to a dark figure who thinks he is the
Grim Reaper, and also a walking tree and a telepathic Appendix.
I hope the Blue Dwarf lasts for much longer as it would be a shame to
loose this unique blend of humour, action, drama, and science
fiction. A combination which I've never seen quite the same in
anything else before.
So everybody raise your glasses, bottles and mugs wherever you are to
the Blue Dwarf to celebrate its 2nd birthday and hope we last for
another 2!
