Re: [JMC_Blue_Dwarf] Niples+ katrina \"A right royal question\"
---------------Snip from Mr Niples------------------
<< With the romance of the moment broken, Seymour thought nothing worse could
happen. But he was proved wrong when a giant metal spider jumped through the
hole in the roof and started gutting one of the choirboys.
The thick oak door burst in, and more robots scuttled through the doors
knocking priceless ornaments over and firing lasers at the congregation.
The royal palace guards started firing back at the giant spiders, but they
were in their dress uniforms and those ridiculous black fluffy things they
wore on their heads kept slipping in front of their faces. People ran all
over the place in panic.
Seymour grabbed Katrina by the hand and tried to pull her towards an exit.
âI think it would be wise to make a swift exit.â The king said, pulling her
towards the back door of the hall.
Then suddenly, a crowd of people, forgetting Royal etiquette in the confusion
pushed past them both, breaking Seymour and Katrinaâs hand grip. Katrina was
swept with the crowd one way, and Seymour the other.
âKatrina!!!â Seymour shouted as a spider reared up its sharp front claws
behind herâ¦.>>
-----------------End snip from Mr Niples---------------
Hearing the frantic call of Seymour over the noises of the paniced people,
Katrina turned around, seeing the robot ready to tear her to bits. The
spider's claws came down at her, but, luckily, at the same time, the crowd of
hysterical people shifted again. The spider didn't tear her to bits, but it
shred an innocent patron next to her, the claws leaving a deep gash in her
left thigh before she could get completely out of the way.
Katrina screamed, then fell heavily on the ground, unable to stand up. The
remants of the shredded patron fell on top of her, covering her in blood.
Katrina shut her eyes.
One thing that Katrina had learned from all her years of watching horror
movies was knowing when a character should pretend to be dead when they could
get away with it in the right circumstances. Now, here Katrina was, injured
and covered with people bits, with her eyes closed, not moving. This was the
right circumstance.
With one eye slightly open, Katrina saw the spider look her over. It then
reared back and jumped over her, heading off to kill more people.
She sighed with relief. Then, the pain of her injury seemed to kick in
suddenly. A searing pain that spread through her whole body, centralized in
her left thigh. She reached down and gently felt the gash. It had to be
atleast six inches long and bleeding like a son-of-a-bitch.
"Seymour!" she yelped, and everything started to go black.
