Who;- Jay, Ray
Where:- Phoenix and Space Eagle II respectivley
The Space Eagle II led the way toward the Plebe missile, Jay
following just behind in the Phoenix, it had been a while since he'ed
back in the neck of the galaxy,not since the honeymoon in fact, he
just wished it could have been in better circumstances.
The comm fizzed.
"Chrysler, we need to make a move now, the missiles just broken Mars
orbit" Ray said over the communication system,
"Clear that Durron, your missile armed?"
"check"
"You know the plan"
with that the Eagle broke off to the left, Jay moving the other way,
Jay watched through the cockpit glass as the green figther ship
gained speed and closed in on the Plebe missile from it's left side,
"Anytime today 'Raymond'" Jay said over the tannoy, putting an
emphasis on the Raymond, making it sound like an insult, somehow, he
was good at that.
"Ok ok....um..Jay....DAMMIT" Ray replied, failing to turn Jay into
anything else,
"Missile away"
Jay watched Ray pull away sharply in the Eagle, as a small glowing
orb flew out from under one of the wings, heading for the missile..
