The Comm unit on White Wolf's desk buzzed, and the huge hamster
absentmindly reached over and toggled the switch while
answering, "Commander White Wolf here..."
"Commander, Lt Cmdr Chrysler here" came the voice of Jay.
"Good afternoon Mr. Chrysler, I trust you're well"
"As well as you can be with the Grand Canyon on your left forearm and
barely concious from being beaten to the ground buy your wife and her
friend!"
"I wont ask..." replied the garagantuan hamster.
"What can I do for you Jay?"
"I'd like to request access to the original construction plnas of the
Space Eagle, I udnerstand it wasnt built here on the 'Dwarf but we
must have a copy"
"Yes we do have the plans in Holly's database, may I ask why you need
access?"
"Well with you're permission I'd like to attempt to rebuild it,
only.. apart from a higher salary my recent promotion to Lt. Cmdr
only really gives me a couple more pips and I can now get TWO sugars
in my coffee from the pilots lounge vending machine"
"I'm sure we can arrange that" said the rodent "HOLLY, allow Mr
Chrysler access to the Space Eagle plans."
"Mr Chrysler..thats the bloke right..i'm never sure..all these
smegging weddings, it just confuses me.." holly babbled
After much confusion later, Holly finally gave Jay the security
clearance.
Later:- Auxilliary shuttlebay 9
Jay looked over the blueprint for the Eagle. Lowering the plans he
gazed over to what remained of the fighter vessel.
Half the parts needed for the damn thing were wrecked beyond repair,
the whole ship was a total write off. And the majority of these parts
were not aboard the Dwarf, you had be a Space Corp engineer to be
able to get hold of them, not a JMC flyboy.
Smeg, most of the JMC engineers hadnt even seen a spanner before.
"this is gonna be tougher than I thought..." he muttered to himself.
Exiting the shuttle bay he sealed the doors with a security code.
"Maybe a little...redesign is in order..." He headed up to his
quarters, to keep Alota awake all night with his fidgeting.
